INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER ORDERS – from outside the United States
We are happy to accept international orders and look forward to doing business with you. All rates are in US dollars and for payment we accept credit cards through PayPal (www.paypal.com). Western Union (www.westernunion.com) is an option for customers living in regions not covered by Paypal. We recommend using Paypal as they do not charge a fee to send a payment but Western Union does. At this time we cannot accept personal checks drawn from international bank accounts or cashiers checks.
*Shipping - International: For US orders there is a minimum charge of $8.95 as a return-shipping estimate; however, for international orders shipping will be higher. Our international clients are asked to estimate the additional shipping charges when making a payment. In general, the cost for return shipping should be a few dollars more than the original amount paid to ship the package to us. (The return package is heavier once the completed CDs/DVDs are included.) If there is a difference in the return shipping costs we will email back the return-shipping amount once the order has been completed and packaged.
International Clients - Please Read:
Our Slide Scanning & Photo Scanning Packages are chosen when slides/photos are not to be used for watching on television with a DVD player. These packages include scanning & transferring the images in JPEG format onto a CD. The CD comes with an insert, label & case. We check each image after scanning for quality and rotate/crop them as needed. Any computer with a CD-ROM drive should be able to read the JPEG image files placed on CD. Our rates for this package are $0.49 per slide or $0.59 per photo plus return shipping*. (For complete package details see the Slide Transfers page or the Photo Transfers page.)
Our Multi-Purpose Package & Photos to CD & DVD Package both include slides/photos scanned in JPEG format & transferred onto CD’s for printing, scrap booking, emailing, etc., plus a video DVD Slideshow Movie (playable on most DVD players to be viewed on television) with transitions between slides. Any computer with a CD-ROM drive should be able to read the JPEG image files placed on CD. If you choose one of these packages then we will need to know which format PAL or NTSC to use. DVDs will be created in the NTSC format unless otherwise indicated on the order form. NTSC is used in the United States, Canada, Bahamas & other locations. Normally we proof all video DVDs on a DVD player before returning them to a client; however, at this time we are not able to view PAL videos on a DVD player. The CDs and DVDs will be proofed on a computer before they are return shipped. We suggest all of our clients both inside and outside of the U.S. check their DVD players for compatibility. See our FAQ's page for details. All CD/DVDs will have labels, inserts & come inside a jewel case. The cost for this package is $0.69 per slide or $0.79 per photo plus return shipping*. Music notes: If you would like to have background music playing during the video DVD Slideshow we have some royalty free music that may be added to the presentation. Some clients choose not to have background music, they feel music can become outdated & prefer to play their own selections at home during the slideshow so this is optional.
Titles: Short titles may be added between groups of slides & up to 5 titles are included in the above package. Titles typically consist of white words on a dark background. Additional titles are $1.00 each. Write the titles on the order form, or on a separate sheet, along with where you would like them to appear. An example: Before Slide 1-110 “Vacation 1965”.
